Lesson 6. Design Support

The main thing in the lesson

Design support is the activity that the designer is engaged in after the layouts have gone into development and in the absence of burning tasks: support for developers, updating the design system, processing existing functionality, checking the implemented design layouts.
•

Be prepared for the fact that after transferring the layouts to the developers, they will have to be changed. This is normal practice.
•

Check how your design was implemented, compare the finished UI of the application with the layouts. Present the results clearly: on the right show how it turned out, and on the left - how it should have been.
•

If you use a design system, do not forget to update and develop it.
•

Improve processes so that the time to create a design is reduced, and collaboration becomes more convenient and easier.
