Moderation: a new level of convenience

Meet the update to the Moderation section in the developer control panel! Starting 27 November, moderation of games and mini apps has become more transparent and convenient.

What has changed?

Checklist completion indicators. Before submitting a moderation request, a tooltip will appear next to each item showing whether the required setting is configured. Quickly navigate to the relevant sections using the link with the item name. Once all the green checkmarks are collected, you can submit a request to publish in the catalog.

Moderation in the mini app catalog now takes place directly in the control panel, just like for games, with no need to switch to the VK Support interface. Everything about the process and interaction with moderators is in the unified Moderation section. There is also a chat with moderators, their comments and the review statuses of requests. Everything in one place!

Attaching photos and files to initial and repeat moderation requests now takes just a few clicks. A detailed project description is key to a fast moderation process. Moderator comments can also include screencasts and images, which helps in troubleshooting.

Automated test management in VK Testers. A moderator can schedule and send an app for beta testing, and in the interface, you’ll see a banner with step-by-step instructions for each status and quick buttons. You can go directly to report processing and complete the testing. Everything about beta testing is explained in the documentation.

The Featuring section in the control panel: submit a request to be included in the “New” collection within 30 days after successful moderation and publication in the catalog. All details can be found in the instructions.
