Wall photo upload

Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, GIF.

Restrictions:

  • •
    Sum of the height and width is no more than 14,000 pixels.
  • •
    File size is no more than 50 MB.
  • •
    Aspect ratio is at least 1:20.

Getting the address

Call the photos.getWallUploadServer method to get the address to upload photos. To upload photos to a community, enter the community ID in the group_id parameter.

Saving the result on the server

To save the photo on the wall, call the photos.saveWallPhoto method with the parameters you received in the previous step.

Note. At this step, the photo will be saved to the system album. To post it, follow the instructions of the Posting the photo step.
